Mine Counter-Measures Analysis Program Manager, Senior

As an MCM Analysis Program Manager, you'll bring your leadership, management, and tactical experience in Navy mine counter-measures to work alongside thought leadersin consulting and data analytics on projects for Navy warfighting development. You'll use your skills and expertise to lead research and experimentation in surface, aviation, and underwater manned and unmanned MCM systems.

Work with us to lead data-driven analysis conducted in conjunction with Navy MCM exercises around the world. You'll lead a team of subject matter experts in MCM alongside experts in operations analysis and data science to analyze the performance of Navy MCM forces. You'll develop recommendations and produce data-based reports for improvements in doctrine, operations, tactics, sensor and weapons systems, manpower, intelligence preparation of the environment, command and control, mission planning, training, and logistics support.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience with Navy surface, aviation, or EOD, including as a commanding officer afloat or ashore, time on active duty, government service, or contract support

  • 7+ years of experience with project management in the Department of Defense or the Navy

  • 2+ years of experience with Navy mine counter-measures tactics at the leadership level, including Department Head, Executive Officer, or Commanding Officer

  • 2+ years of experience at the Echelon III level

  • Experience with conducting operational analysis or operational assessments

  • Knowledge of Navy surface and aviation MCM systems and their employment, including elements of LCS MCM Mission Packages

  • Knowledge of MCM mission planning systems and processes

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including international travel

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Navy requirements development and Navy Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processes

  • Experience as a Warfare Commander or on a Warfare Commander Staff, deployed with a Carrier Strike Group or Amphibious Ready Group

  • Experience with managing the employment, integration, or development of Navy C5I systems or networks

  • Experience with Navy logistics, training, or personnel readiness systems, policies, and management

  • Experience with developing or validating Surface Navy Doctrine and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP)

  • Knowledge of Navy tactical training systems, including the use of Live, Virtual, and Constructive training

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Master's degree

  • Weapons or Warfare Tactics Instructor (WTI) Certification

  • Mine Hunting Evaluator Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
