Job Description

This position is responsible for forecasting project costs and considers factors such as raw materials, labor, equipment, tools, and transportation for estimations. The Estimator gathers details and compiles data to estimate all production costs according to order specifications. This person will be responsible for working with new costing software, becoming the subject matter expert on costing methodology. The Estimator will also be responsible for collaborating with customers and internal fabrication team to ensure continued success and on-time delivery. This person may be required to assist with CNC machining programming (AutoCAD) as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or technical degree and/or commensurate experience
  • 2+ years of experience in fabrication manufacturing and estimation; prior machining or welding experience a huge plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
