Position Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for a Quality Manager position. As a Quality Manager you are responsible for all quality policies, procedures, audits, incidents, and accountable for maintaining and improving our quality program. This role will be responsible for ongoing compliance to ISO, PPAP and First Article program.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Work with different departments on quality related issues including customer visits, review of customer CARs, meet goals for on-time delivery, and implement continuous improvement
* Implement and coordinate quality programs to reduce or eliminate quality claims and conduct root cause analysis, corrective actions while improving performance to defined quality goals
* Maintain applicable quality certifications (ISO 9001:2015 and IATF), ensure compliance to requirements, and complete PPAPs and First Article Inspections per customer's request
* Transfer SOPs, procedures, policies, and processes to market activities
* Obtain continuous education related to quality. Become/maintain internal auditor certification for applicable quality related certifications
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Position Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a science field like engineering, safety, environmental science, or related technical degree program
* 3-5 years' experience in a quality management role in a manufacturing or distribution environment
* Knowledge and experience with MS Office
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements, knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements
* SAP Experience is a plus
* Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Must have ability to use 2 axis coordinate measuring machine and other measuring tools
