What We Need:

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A to join ourHNI Workplace Furnishings team.

This position provides analytical support to accurately record and disseminate drivers of financial performance to key stakeholders and actively collaborates with business partners across the organization to gain both an in-depth understanding of monthly results and insight into forecasts for upcoming periods. This is a hybrid role reporting onsite in Muscatine, IA.

What You Will Do:

  • Strong analytical / finance skills; Ability to analyze complex data and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audience
  • FP&A point of contact for pricing, investments, & profitability analysis
  • Prepares financial support and analysis for key decision making, improving financial understanding of the business and driving additional improvements
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis projects as required by business conditions and leadership priorities, and provide recommendation on best course of action
  • Create reporting to track key initiatives
  • Facilitate advancement of technological tools to enable improved accuracy and efficiency across finance processes
  • Provide timely and accurate ME close reporting and analysis (performance relative to budget, prior year) for distribution to operations finance and business unit finance leadership
  • Develop positive relationships and actively collaborate with Finance members throughout the organization

What You Have:

  • This position requires a bachelor's degree in finance and 3 - 5 years of experience on a finance team
  • Strong analytical, communication & organizational skills
  • Ability to build relationships with and collaborate effectively with both business partners and finance peers
  • Flexibility; ability to navigate tight timeliness and multi-task
  • Proven ability to own an initiative and drive successful completion
  • MS Office proficiency; advanced Excel skills
  • Power BI experience is a plus
