In this new position, you will play a crucial role in building HNI’s digital marketing and business capabilities as well as informing and executomg a vision for driving and capturing demand through an omni-channel, customer centric approach across the HNI organization.

As a key, strategic hire in a new department, you will support in defining the core digital capabilities to enable an agile marketing process that will drive the combination of customer acquisition, retention and the digital transaction ecosystem for HNI.

What you will do:

  • Serve as product subject matter expert in collaboration with cross functional stake holders. Track performance, identify improvement areas, and communicate with IT team to troubleshoot issues and/or improve experience. Participates and conducts UAT on all digital features.
  • Actively partner with IT, Marketing, Analytics, and agency teams to develop features that drive customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, and satisfaction. Acts as a mediator between the consumers and the technical teams, communicating consumer needs and translating those needs into new digital features for the team to design.
  • Develop and execute a vision for enabling digital demand, engagement and conversion across eCommerce, channels (email/text/push/social) and paid media.
  • Collaborate with technology and HNI Operating Company brand/digital leads to leverage existing platforms in addition to seeking out and vetting new tools and agencies to create meaningful connections with a range of customer segments through digital touch points.
  • Collaborate with agency partners in writing requirements, epics, and user stories to execute the product road map, including fixes and enhancements.
  • Work within a Center of Excellence approach to managing digital products that impacts the path to purchase and efficiently scales across operating companies in a way that prioritizes the customer experience.
  • Identify digital product trends relevant to a B2B2C environment from a variety of data sources to enable continual evolution of the customer experience.
  • Own the digital customer experience from concept to launch and beyond.
  • Develop test plans that allow for rapid iteration, monitor results and communicate to cross functional teams.

Who you are:

  • 7+ years of digital product development, management and operations experience within a customer driven organization.
  • Ability to develop and/or support the creation of product road maps inclusive of business case creation and prioritization.
  • Proven track record of end-to-end, digital product life cycle development and launch within an omni-channel environment inclusive of eCommerce, paid media and CRM driven channels.
  • History of owning the customer experience for a given product and understanding the matrix of feature/function and use case prioritization within the context of business objectives.
  • Technology and digital product savvy with certifications in project, agile and/or scrum.
  • Familiarity with building, managing and leading initiatives across functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill set.
